This post is a little late but two weeks ago Jack had his final day of three year old preschool. It was a really interesting year for us all but Jack really grew up a lot during this school year. When we went to orientation he was my two year old baby and now he is knocking on the door of four years old. It was not an easy year for him at school in some regards. He had trouble adjusting to being away from his Mommy but he did really well in class and it amazes me how much he has learned in his first year of school. The last day of school was bittersweet. It was sad to say goodbye to his first classmates and teachers and it is a little sad to me to see how fast he is growing up. We are very excited to start the next chapter though. When Jack goes back to four year old preschool in the fall he will have a year of experience under his belt and it will hopefully make it easier for him to adjust to the new schedule. We will also have a new baby in the house so it will be an exciting time all around! These pictures were forwarded to me by the Teaching Assistant from Jacks class, Miss Colleen, who was one of the people who made it possible for me to walk away from my crying baby every day knowing that he was in good hands and would have a great day even though it didn't feel like it in those moments!
