Let the Christmas Festivities Begin!

Today we kicked of the Christmas season by visiting Santa at the library. It didn't go over very well but we got cute pictures before we left the house in front of the Christmas tree!

At the library Jack was very excited to see Santa as you can see!

This is as good as it got.

When I walked away he wanted NOTHING to do with it!

Owen didn't do much better. He cried before and after this picture.

We headed over to the Holiday Fair at Jacks school after we left the library. The boys were so tired from a busy week so we didn't stay too long. They did do some tree decorating and played with play-doh. Jack made a polar bear ornament and then we headed home for a long nap!

Here are the boys as penguins on the way out.

Happy Birthday Rachel!

And thanks for the cookie set. We put it to good use this week and the boys loved it!

Ice Skating Video

Here is a video to go with the previous post.

Sunday Fun Day

Today we spent the day hanging out with Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Theresa. Jack and Owen got to help make sugar cookies and Jack really had fun getting messy.

Working hard to get the dough rolled out.

Here he is showing off his cookie cutter.

He really worked hard to get the cookies perfect. Check out that concentration.

He managed to sneak a few bites of sprinkles when it came time to decorate!

Owen didn't care much about the cookies but he did get in on the decorating portion.

After the cookies were made Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa and Jack went ice skating with Uncle Matt, Megan and Nick. Here is Jack waiting for Mommy to get her skates on!

Jack and Daddy taking a spin around the ice.

Jack with his helmet on.

Grandpa helping Jack skate around the rink.

I think we are all sore from helping Jack skate. Here he is getting a free ride from Mommy!

Happy Halloween!!!

Tonight was Halloween so we got the boys dressed up for some Trick or Treating. Here is Jack the elephant.

Owen in his elephant suit.

The boys together before heading out.

Trick or treating!

Owen wondering what we are doing to him!

Oh, I guess its funny!

The boys with Grandpa and Daddy.

Jack stopping for a sucker break.

Back at home Owen was raiding our own candy bucket. The neighbor keeps a tally of kids and she said last year she had 350 kids! We have the perfect neighborhood for it!

Mommys pumpkin.

Sitting by the fire in the driveway after trick or treating.

Harvest Hoedown

Today was the Harvest Hoedown party at Jacks preschool. Moms and Dads were welcome to come join the festivities so I went to check it out and get some pictures of Jack in school. The kids were supposed to dress like farmers for their fall party. Here is Jack with our pumpkins before school.

Again with some Halloween decorations.

Here are the kids playing with Play-doh when they first got to school. Jack is peeking at the bottom!

Here is the class at the gym learning about some fun activities they were about to try. Jack is about 5 kids from the left.

Watching Mrs. Antoon demonstrate pumpkin rolling.

The kids raking the leaves in the gym. Jack is right in the center.

It looks like Jack is hurting Evan here because he has his mean face on but they
were actually just playing!

Jack crossing the "spooky bridge"

Reading a scary story at circle time. Jack is on the left.

Tanner and Jack hammering golf tees into pumpkins.

Jack's class got to go to a sing along with three other classes. Even Mommy had to get up and hold puppets for this one! Jack is the third child starting from the little blond girl right in front.

One of Jacks classmates had a little too much fun earlier in the day and fell asleep on Mrs. Antoon's lap during the sing along.

Sing along fun. Jack is towards the left.

People always ask if Jack is small in his class so here is a good shot to show it.

More singing along. Jack is still to the left.

Walking back to class for snack to finish a fun day at preschool!
