New Videos

We took a few videos this weekend of things going on around here. There are a few of Jack taking Ella sledding down the stairs (all his idea) and a few of Ella dancing and walking and one of her standing up on her own. She is making progress with her walking every day!

Owen Goes to Preschool

Today was Owen's first day of preschool. He has been SO EXCITED and SO READY to go to school for months. He constantly asks me "you are gonna leave me at school right momma? You aren't going to come with me, right?". I didn't realize I had been cramping his style so much but he was ready to get rid of me! He was super excited to get his school clothes on and wear his backpack to school

 Owen with Aunt Theresa.
 Grandma, Owen and Grandpa.
The idea of school was so exciting he conked out in the car on the way to school.

Here he is getting ready to walk into school.
Putting his gear in his locker.
Showing me his locker. It has an "O" on it and an octopus with his name and a note from Mommy that I wrote him at Meet and Greet night last week. He was very excited about having his own locker.
 Posing with his locker.
When his teacher came out he ran up and gave her a high 5 and got on the line to go to school.
 Blowing me a kiss!
So excited to go to school!

 Walking off to his classroom.
He did SO AWESOME at drop off. He was so ready to play with his friends at school. When I went to pick him up I was confident I would get a good report that he had a great time but that wasn't the case. His teacher said he cried for the last 40 minutes of class! I couldn't believe it at first but once I saw his face I knew it was true. His eyes were red and he had obviously been crying. I asked him why he cried and he said he had fun for awhile and then he just missed me. Even the playground couldn't turn his mood around during school, he said he just sat down out there because he was too sad to play. I sure hope next week is easier. I can't take two kids who hate school!!!

My Sweet Boy

Owen got to go school clothes shopping with Grandma and Grandpa tonight. It came at a perfect time because he has been feeling a bit jealous of all of Jack's school and Birthday attention. He came home and showed off his new vest and hat and couldn't wait to show me his bag full of clothes and Lightning McQueen backpack. He is lucky to have amazing Grandparents! He is also super stinkin' cute!

Apple Orchard

Apparently I forgot to post this last week when I wrote it, oops! We went to the apple orchard today to get some yummy apples, doughnuts and cider and a beautiful sunny day. The day before we had to get a picture of Ella in her Wisconsin gear. At first she wasn't sure she like Wisconsin but she came around...

Here are some photos of us enjoying a day picking apples and enjoying the hayride, doughnuts and cider. YUM!

Birthday Party!

Today we were lucky enough to have an awesome group of family and friends celebrate Jack's Birthday with us at the bowling alley. Jack was beyond existed and ran around like a crazy man while we were there. It was nice to see him have a fun day after a hard couple weeks. Here are Owen and Jack when we first arrived.
Photos of Jack from each of his Birthdays.
 Beach cake.
 Aidan taking a turn bowling.
 Carter bowling.

Owen watching his ball. The kids did AWESOME bowling. It was fun to watch :)
Blake and Evan watching the bowling action.
Mommy, Ella, Amelia and Gina at the party. Ella and Amelia are just 3 days apart.
Jack being shy about the cake.

Proof that the bowling alley is the most difficult place to get good pictures.
 Some party shots!

 Opening all his awesome gifts!

 Tired Ella enjoying the party.

Owen excited that Aunt Theresa got him a gift too!
 Playing with goodie bags.
We had an awesome turn out and Jack was still flying high hours later. Thank you to everyone who made such a fun day possible, especially Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Pete!!!
