Winter Fun

A few more pictures from this snowy winter. Jack loves making this snow fort in our front yard. He insisted I take pictures. It is now about 4 times bigger than this!

At this time we thought this was a lot of snow. This pile is literally 3 times taller now! WAY taller than my Jeep!
A picture after Owen's first day back to school with his Birthday loot! The kids were off for THREE WEEKS for the Holiday break because the last day before break was a snow day and they had three snow days at the tail end of the break! In total, they only went to 12 days of school in January with all of the snow days!
The kids working in the snow with their shovels...a common sight this year!

Owen's Birthday

New Year's Day we got to celebrate this big guy turning SIX!!! I honestly can't believe he is six already. The time is going back in a flash. I just want it to SLOOWWW DOWN. Owen was so excited that Jack picked out this light saber for him (Jack conveniently picked one out for himself as well!).
 Watching the excitement!
Owen's gift from Mommy, Daddy, Jack and Ella. A new kayak just like Jack got for his Birthday. Zoom in on that sweet!

Party hat! This kids sweet smile...makes my heart melt!

Ninja Turtle toys from Aunt Becky! Woohoo!

Oh boy...his very own tablet from Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Pete!!!
 Miss Ella :)
 Trying out his new kayak.
Ella went ahead and tried out the Ninja Turtle gear and Grandpa was getting in on the Star Wars action!
Singing "Happy Birthday" to the big 6 year old!

And lastly, one of the only pictures we have of the kids skiing this winter. I will have to try to get more because we have spent a lot of time on the slopes this year. The kids are loving their time learning to ski like Daddy! We have had some great family time in the beautiful snowy weather this winter!

This year, we spent Christmas at the beach house with the Larson side of the family. It was a spectacular two weeks filled with family, skiing, snow tubing, playing outside, sitting by the fire and enjoying some time together. Here is the Christmas tree waiting for the kids to wake up on Christmas morning.
The kids are ready for some presents!!!

 Here we go...

 The BIG gift...
 ...a Nintendo Wii U!

And at the end of the chaos, Ella sitting at her new Sophia the First drawing table.
A picture to show just how 'white' of a Christmas we had!
Aunt Becky and Grandma can thank me for this shot later! Pajamas and bed head!
 Checking out new toys!

Aunt Becky and Ella playing with her new baby doll. She named her "Steve".
 Jack with his Hex Bugs.
We got a lot of shows from Ella!

Later that day, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Paul and Gus joined the fun!

The kids even took Gus outside for a sled ride!

Then Gus and Ella got cleaned up in the bath. Gus is so enamored of is so cute!

Then the boys got on their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pajamas on. They were very excited to match!

Ella wanted a picture in her new pajamas too!
 Watching cartoons before bed.
