The Waiting Game

We have been keeping busy lately just trying to enjoy the summer and our last few weeks as a family of four. We are anxious to meet the newest member of the Crossett family in just over two weeks. I haven't taken many pictures lately but I caught Jack snoozing on the couch yet again this week so I took a quick picture. Nothing better than a sleeping baby kid!

We had some crazy weather here this evening and the back end of the storm front brought some really strange looking skies. I wish I could have captured it better but it was so humid outside that when I brought the camera out of the air conditioned house I had time for two shots before my lens steamed up. Oh well. The light outside was yellow and made it look like it was lit by lamps which you can sort of see looking at the cars in the second photo.

Goodbye Fluff!

So we were a little overdue on getting the boys hair cut and they were starting to look extremely fluffy. Mommies little hippies. We finally got up to the barber shop yesterday so I took before and after shots. Here is Jack sneaking into Owen's picture.

Hot, Hot, Heat!

Not much new has been happening around here. We are mostly trying not to melt in the heat! The hot weather makes for long days which lead to hard crashes at night. Jack and Neil are particularly susceptible to these crashes on the couch!

We have spent a lot of time out on the lake the past week between the 4th of July and the warm weather. Here are a few pictures of the boys relaxing on the sandbar.

Most of the rest of the week has been spent with me trying to get ready for baby. Neil found out he has to go to Korea on the 18th and when he gets back it will be baby time! This is exciting but also a little stressful because that leaves me with just over a week with his help to get all of the stuff on our pre-baby to-do list finished! If she should decide to cooperate more than her brothers, Ella will be born on August 11th. We'll see what she has in mind!

The Band

Jack and Owen decided to form a cover band. I think they are going to be a big hit!
