Day 1

As soon as we got to the house Jack and Owen checked everything out. When they got to the pool Jack ran into the house and said "I gotta go get my sun block and my babing thing!", also known as a bathing suit. It was already starting to get dark so we didn't bother with the sun block we just got them in their suits and in the pool. The boys picked things up quickly and were swimming around in no time!

 This was also the first time Ella was in a bathing suit or swimming. Here she is sporting her suit!

We arrived in the evening today so we will get a chance to check things out more tomorrow. I can't wait for the kids to spend some time in the sunshine!!!

Traveling

Today the kids and Mommy traveled to Florida to visit Grandma Lila and Grandpa Terry. The boys were so excited about the trip and flying in an airplane! Here they are this morning before we got ready to go!

 They also loved the tram but we didn't ride it because it was a hassle to try to get the stroller up there.

 This lasted for about 5 minutes before they gave up on it.

The whole trip went so much better than I could have imagined. The boys LOVED the drink cart and were amazed by the whole experience. Jack's face lit up when we took off and he could see everything from way up in the air. Ella was a champ and everyone on the flight loved her. She was babbling at everyone and smiling away the whole flight. We did have to visit the potty on the airplane no less than 10 times which was rough because I had to tote Ella around the whole time. It was a lot of work to keep everything together but all in all I couldn't have asked for a better trip!

Sunny Day

Yesterday was one of my favorite kinds of days. It was the first really warm and sunny day after a long cold winter (that isn't really over yet). We spent the day at Grandma and Grandpa's house where the kids could play outside and enjoy all of the things they haven't been able to do in so long. They jumped on the trampoline, rode bikes, ran around and got really dirty. The boys even got to have a sleepover! Here is Jack playing outside during the day.
