Yesterday was Jack's first day of First Grade. It didn't get off to such a great start. Jack DID NOT want to go to school so when it was time to take some pictures and get on the bus this is what it looked like...
I didn't get any more pictures because I was busy carrying him to the bus stop then putting him on the bus (quite a few times as he is a better escape artist than last year). He finally made it to school though and apparently after about half an hour he was fine. Getting off the bus was a much happier affair.
He seemed to genuinely like school yesterday and his best friend, Aidan, is in his class so he is pretty excited about that! We decided to try a few pictures this morning to replace those sad ones from yesterday and it went much better!
He was all smiles waiting for the bus too!
