That's right, we went to Cedar Point this weekend! It was such an awesome time!!! We almost cancelled because the weather looked like it was going to be horrible and it turned out perfect!!! I took the boys down early afternoon on Friday with Grandma, Becky and her friend Melissa. Once we got down there we were going to hang out in the Cabin but we decided to get evening passes to the park and go in. Sarah and Paul met us in there shortly after we went on our first ride. Neil and Grandpa came after we got back from the park because Neil was on his way back from Mexico and Grandpa was working.
When we got to the cabin Jack was starting at the Magnum going up the hill saying "up, up, up" and when it got to the top and started down the hill he would say "wweeeeeeeee". He knew! Once in the park we took the boys on the Sky Ride to get to the front of the park. Jack was unsure. He looked nervous but you could tell her was excited. I took him on the Carousel after that and he liked the horses. We also took him on some little cars but he just wasn't quite sure about the whole thing yet.
Once we got farther into the park I was in line for a big ride and Aunt Sarah took Jack on the Himalaya. This thing is FAST. It is meant for adults and Jack LOVED it. As soon as the ride was over he would say "again, again". I took Jack to the little kids area of the park and he rode every ride he could. He is such a daredevil. There were rides that were making my stomach drop and I was scared and he didn't care at all! We went to sleep really late because the park didn't even close until 10 that night.
Saturday we went into the park at 9 in the morning to let Daddy, Paul and Sarah do some rides before the park opened to the general public at 10. We met up with Grandma and Grandpa and Jack went on about 20 rides before lunch. He just couldn't get enough. He had to take a break for a nap after lunch because he got so little sleep the night before but he came back to the park ready for more! All in all he rode a ton of rides before he headed back for the night at around 8 that night with Grandma and Grandpa so Mommy and Daddy could go have some fun on the big rides. Us big kids stayed awhile later and then went back and crashed. It was such a riot! I haven't been on a roller coaster in years and since Grandma and Grandpa were so helpful with the boys I had a chance to relax and have some fun!
This morning the rest of the crew headed home and Neil and I took the boys to Castaway Bay Indoor Water Park. It was Owens first time swimming and he really enjoyed it. We sat him in the toddler pool and he talked and smiled and reached out for the water. Jack went down the little kids slides and played in the wave pool. He really loved it and Daddy even convinced him to go under the waterfalls and get splashed, which he typically doesn't like!
On to the pictures!
Here is where Neil was staying in Mexico. It was kind of neat looking.
Jack and Grandpa waiting in line
The little boy in the car behind Jack was actually in his swim class. His name is Jack as well!
