Science Center Fun!!!

Despite being sick I decided to take Jack with Aunt Sarah out to East Lansing to visit Aunt Becky while Owen hung out with Grandma today. We went to lunch and showed Jack where Aunt Becky lives. After lunch we took Jack to Impression 5 which is a science center in Lansing geared toward children. A lot of the stuff was over his head still but he was very interested in everything. He liked the bubble area where he watched Aunt Sarah make a bubble that totally surrounded her (Jack was too scared to go in the bubble but he liked popping it!). He also liked the spinning chair that was meant to teach him about momentum but it mostly taught him how to feel like he is going to fall over. They had some human anatomy sections, a water area for big kids, a broadcasting area, a space center that was interesting but to old for him as well as a ton of other stuff. His favorite area was a new center they opened last month geared at 0-4 year olds. They had toys to use their imaginations like a kitchen set, they had giant blocks, a tunnel and climbing toys. He loved the slide the most. They also had a water area where they give the parents and kids Crocs to wear and a plastic smock and they have this huge raised river type platform with different toys in it like a funnel that the water goes through and makes a wheel spin under it. Jack liked playing in the water a lot! He also enjoyed a backhoe tractor that dug in a ball pit, the giant human mouth with a big toothbrush to practice with and this contraption that someone welded together with wire that you put a marble in and it weaved its way on the track to the bottom. All in all it was a good day to help him (and me) forget about being sick!

Here is a picture at Aunt Becky's house. We tried to get Sarah in the next picture but Jack decided he had enough pictures!
